Breathe & Flow: Meditation and Mindfulness for Seniors

Do you want to know more about mindfulness and meditation? Would you like to give mindfulness and meditation a try? Join Pamela Thomson, local Certified Beginner Meditation Teacher, for this class to learn and practice simple and effective techniques to quiet your mind, relax your body, balance your moods, reduce stress and anxiety, improve sleep, increase mental clarity and presence of mind, better health, happiness and vitality, cultivate energy, intuition and creativity. These are just some of the many benefits of mindfulness and meditation. Pam will discuss and demonstrate:
- Common myths and misconceptions
- Health benefits
- Simple and effective breathing techniques to relax the body and mind as well as mindfulness cues that can be used at any time
- How meditation and mindfulness work
- How you can incorporate meditation and mindfulness into your daily life and nurture your practice
